announced last November, this thing is now expected to launch this November (11/18), the whole teaser marketing thing is getting a bit out of hand IMHO. What I’d like to know: what’s it gonna cost? It’s a Vespa so odds are good it’s not going to be cheap. Then again there is 946 expensive and then there is 300s expensive...

This Vespa electric scooter ad is false advertising.

My helmet's wind noise is sometimes deafening on a no-noise el moto.

That Vespa, like the BMW electric scooter, is easily the best looking one I have seen. In the one person to a vehicle preference on US roads and streets, I see an electric scooter making a lot of sense. Americans like their independence and that includes not wanting to car pool, not wanting to share a ride, not wanting to disturb our drive to work/drive home. So for one person commuting an electric scooter seems a great match. Or perhaps something like the electric powered Lit Motors C1:

Electric it would have lots of power, seats two, enclosed, as long as the range can be figured out.

'nice. Sounds like they may have a speed driven noise generator of some type from the noise in the practice loops.
If so, I hope that's defeatible. Silence is good. I look forward to seeing these state side.

Electric bicycles have always been my hobby, but I have never been able to own a bicycle that belongs to me. It is very sad.

    I’d love one but it’s gotta have the performance of a 300 & a 100 mi. range
