    The hub has arrived. $220

If I went orange it would be the same price for a front AND rear! :fpalm

Anyway, solder some wires and fit the horn and the 610 is ready for some rec reg.

Nice Sunday arvo for a squirt.

Did some more work. Front pads were almost to tje metal. It was a very poorly maintained bike. Front wheel bearings fine. Mirror fitted. Front brake switch, horn, rear taillight assy.

Rec reg tomorrow. Ready for the Grampians.

Interesting to see if your fuel consumption changes, may even drop a bit with the extra torque.

Yeah mate I’ve been thinking that. The subrame has been converted so I’ll hook that up. I could get just shy of 200 k’s out of the 570 with sub so it will be interesting. I don’t have a speedo on this one atm. I have an old Trailtech which I should try. The TPS needs adjusting so that could interfere with the economy. I’ll get onto that this weekend. Also I’m going to run 15/47 gearing.

That's pretty tall gearing Al, even for the Torquemonsta:hmmmmm

Tallest I've run is 15/49 (at Condo) - was good for 185+ - not much tight stuff.
Ran 15/50 at Safari - max 178 (off-road) perfect on the sand.
Got 15/50 and tall trials tyre on it and it is fine everywhere - Rekluse helps me not stalling tho:nod

That’s about what I run on the 570 Jak, 47/48. This 610 has a lot more vibration so I want to keep the rpm’s down a tad till I reduce some piston assy weight.

Thought I better take a bit of a test run today.
Had to go out and get some new riding gear, boots, knee guards, armour, pants as it is all in QLD with the 701...I'll need to get a job at this rate...
