Did you have a look at US sites?
When buying a 105mm barrel and piston for the 690/732, even after freight and GST the cost from the US was about $500 cheaper than local dealers. And it was in stock and arrived at my door a week later, none in the country here.

A bent Berg with this top end and cam, fuel and breathing, head work would be a very nice running bike.

Different bore and stroke to the 500EXC.

Don't really want to start a new thread, so will ask this here ...

Has anyone used mousse on a heavy bike?

    Maybe heavier than a 690 / 701 ...

Not yet but I'm contemplating running one in the front of the 950. I don't do a lot of road miles and will keep it well lubed.

    Any other ideas about this?

Use of mousse on heavier bikes?

Yes, I was really meaning bikes heavier than (eg) a 690/701

Mousse is only meant for offroad use, but does anyone use them on the mid-size ADV bikes?

    Maybe not
