Has anyone else played Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice?

It's absolutely amazing. You play as a character with psychosis but it's not going in on tropes or anything like that. It's a journey through their point of view and you have 0 hud or tutorials. Everything is based on the voices you hear but even they will lie to you sometimes. It's not long at about 6-7 hours and on gamepass if anyone has it.

The game won a ton of awards and it deserved them. But if all possible this is a game to play with headphones, being able to hear the voices in each ear helps not only with the feel but also guiding you where to go.

I've been flying flight sims since they first came out. I'm a little leery of the xbox version because I'm not sure how they're going to handle all of the controls? I have a yoke and rudder pedals I use on the PC and it just wouldn't be the same with my little xbox controller.

I watched this vid the other day and I gotta say, I'm pretty excited about it. I might have to update my pc, though :lol3

I need someone to recommend an XBox One X (4K HDR) game for Winter time play ing this year. a few caveats
    -I don't like arcade shooters
    -or multi-player
    -or puzzles
    -or strict levels

the last few games I've really gotten into
    Civ VI
    RDR2
    GTAV
    Forza (2,3,4)
Fallout 4 (tried 76 but multi-player ruined it for me)
    Tropico
    Sims 4
    Sim City 2,3,4

I like open world games where I choose where to go, complete some challenges but don't have to deal with real people or strictly have to aim a gun. but I like console gaming on the big screen and really don't like playing PC games because I spend all day on a PC and like couch time at night. but I also really don't like playing vintage games. I'm sure GTA 4, RDR and Fallout 3 are good games but if the graphics look like crap, I just can't get into it.

    Far Cry 5.
It's open world, you can go and do anything you want, after you first beat/reclaim the little island your on from the bad guys, doesn't take long, you can wander around all you want in a huge open world, very beautiful and fun to explore.
As FPGT72 said above, Red Dead Redemption 2 is another good one.

Despite the awards it never got the hype it deserved.

Agree, impressive on many levels...audio, visuals, storyline, voice acting. Excellent with earbuds on a 4k screen.

How about Forza Horizon 4? Open world, plenty of stuff to do. And every week they change seasons and add more challenges.

Got too grind after a while but I've basically finished it. There's always more stuff to do but I think I'm at 250 hours total. 500 would get me to 100% but I own every house, 250 cars, all of the DLCs are done. Great game, I loved it a lot!

Well it might be the AMD driver. I reverted to an old driver and it works. But I don't care for the game.

Folks, I have to tell you: I am about convinced that AC Origins is the best game I have ever played.

Other than missing a dragon or two, it is beautiful. I have never been so inspired to travel far and wide on a map, enjoying exploration and seamlessly integrating in literal one set of moves climbing, swinging fighting and calling my trusty chocobo steed.

It is an incredibly expansive map that doesn't disappoint with tiny details and life that seems to exist independtly of my actions, and hidden treasures like pools of water in a mountain top that serve no purpose but to be beautiful.

The NPC chatter is disappointingly redunadant, and distracts from some otherwise amazing and the illusion of relatively minimal repetition.

If you like action questors, and roaming the wild..
    Get it.

Did you ever play Witcher 3?

Red Dead 2 is coming to PC soon!
I really hope I like it half as much as the first edition.
Some of the recent big, hyped games couldn't hold my attention for long.

Speaking of which, the new Ghost Recon isn't getting very good reviews. I was looking forward to that one.

I played Witcher 3. It was cool, but I like having a bow option one games. Map wose it is no comparison.

I have RDR as well, but that felt too confining and frankly after a while was boring. Not enough to do once the story quests were done, and not enough random encounters for my liking. I don't think I'll be getting RDR2 unless there are radical improvements in freestyle ability to play. I think Rockstar will do fine without me. Lol They're great.

They are gonna ride 76 until the wheels fall off of it.
I wouldn't look for FO5 before late 2021 at best.
