Said good bye to the keepers there, we went down.
Told the guys that we would stop and take some pix of the road under us.
I knew the road view would be very great as I 've seen it during my previous trip.
Just simply beautiful as the below photo - which was captured during my last trip here, by 4 wheels:

But unfortunately, it was quite early, then the mist followed us to the end of the hill.

Well, not much left for the rest of the trip. :cry

Left the Hon Ba Mount, we headed back to Ho Chi Minh City.
There are two ways which lead us home. We choose the seaside road, which around 50km further than the main road, but the scenery was fun.
Well, now you may know why I called this thread is "a taste of everything". Within some days, we have covered all kinds of Vietnam roads, scenery and people.
Now, see the special offer from Vietnam seaside, not many people seeing this - because people normally see the very nice, blue and calm beach, with nice and peace resorts...
But now, see what we got - the sand color and the cactus around:

Do you think the Cafe racer likes this road??

    [IMG][IMG]

    How about GS??

    Great matching isn't it?

Oh hell - Vietnam has desert? Have you ever heard about Vietnam desert? Sure No:

    Excited:

Thought I was riding somewhere in Africa:

See the pretty cool sweet water pond at the middle of hot sand area:

Search "Bau trang" (white sand dunes), you may have more info about this:

Wow... don't know if we get lost in Mongolia:

Or at the middle of Sahara...!!?

We may see Pyramids at the other side of this valley!!???

    Another cool spot:

Kept rolling for around more than 10km, we reached Pink hill (Doi Hong):

We rode all the way along the seaside then back to HCMC safely around 7PM. Really good trip thru 12xxkm.

Thanks for the great pictures of your ride.
Viet Nam is such a beautiful country with wonderful people.

I got a free trip there in 1969, but only saw the area from Hue to Aloui.
Went back in 2013 and toured from Hanoi to HCMC with Veterans for Peace.
Too bad we did not have motorcycles.

That's too bad, for both trips of yours. :evil j/k.
Thanks for your compliment. It's my pleasure to show the world something new of this side of the earth, something new from what you may known about Vietnam.

Great report and I love the pictures. Earlier this year I rode with a group from DaNang to HCM City--through Buon Ma Thuot, Da Lat and Phan Thiet. 1465 total kilometers as we wound around the country. I was on a worn out Honda 125 and would have given my right arm to have my GS! There is nothing in the world like HCM rush hour traffic!

Beautiful country. Beautiful people. Great food!

Thank you very much, guys. I am glad that you are happy with the report.

That's purpose of all the pix. If you are not coming to Vietnam, that's my failure :rofl.

I am sure it would look much more amazing with the foreigner's eyes. I am local so that I may not have good sense to catch up some moment ore scene which may much more worth it for you.

Wow, so you did really ride in Vietnam. Again, I am glad that you enjoy my thread as well as riding here :evil.
Sorry, but where's your trip report? :deal

    Thank you.
How do you like to buy the bike?
I don't think it is difficult if you have no issue with money and you believe me to get me to register that bike under my name. Super easy. :evil
