That’s a 1990 model please tell me if I’m wrong but don’t the vinduro bikes need to be pre1988 ?
Vic says 88, nsw says 86 and i think FIM is 86 but rear disk rules it out everywhere
Just depends what your trying to ride it in, I think the VERI rules are something like that yes.
The DT is unchanged from 88 model
Looks like a nice bike mate, it should sell easily
It's eligible for Cookardinia and I although I haven't checked lately it might be allowed at the Broadford Bike Bonanza.
it will be sad to see it head to SA next week, funny thing is thats where i shipped it from
i know i will regret this
Entries are now open for the first VERi (Victoria) event of the year - the Wandong Vinduro.
This event is held on private property so no rego is needed. Bikes should have a headlight & tail light fitted, and not be too noisy. MA rec licence required whether the bike is registered or not.

bit of bike prep for the 20 season, New seat, ,made a .5mm head gasket and check timing
Nice work on that copper head gasket darren70. How did you get the holes so neat? Copper of any thickness can be awkward to work with.
A fly cutter for the centre and just a drill on a piece of mdf
Oh, and gentle touch
What's that old husky in the background there Darren? A 430?
Fittingly beside a ted 20
Well if you don't like I'll have it. "82?
Yes an 82
At the moment its jus another money pit that i am trying to bring up to my standard
Should be a good thing once you get to that standard.
Mmmmmmmm. That backing plate. Yum.
Unless things have changed since the last vinduro I did (Canowindra '18? I think, might have been '17) NSW is conventional forks and drum rear, no hard year limits (Cookyadinner aside).
On a semi related note, might actually have time to make a few this year. Just gotta get around to finishing the DT175H I put a new top end in in 2016 and haven't touched since (needs a seat, a carb, tyres, brake shoes and cables), find a replacement pipe for the one that broke off at the header on my IT250J and actually get around to getting there
Well if you don't like it.
