    I would be badly fearful of that top sparkplug lead igniting the crotch-adjacent fuel tank.
    Guess they weren't, and so we rightly call them pioneers :-)

    Looks like a semi want to go fast bike with the sprocket sizes, sort of rear set shift, tires, velocity stack.
    Surprised to see socket head screws on engine case...maybe some one up dated screws?
    Fun puzzle. SWAG....Euro descent, leaning towards German.

    I'm going to go with something Italian as that carb looks like an early Dellorto. Other than that, dry sump/oil in frame is unusual, so is OHC on something that looks 1960's.
