    Hi Beezer,
    Yup it looks like ridges but its actually the tool path and the lighting, the top of the lower clamp is flat as a pancake except for the tube clamps. What's cool is it uses the Triumph factory fork stops.

    As general information I have been away from this thread for a while due to family stuff and having to buy 2 vehicles, a Mazda 3 for my kid and a Chevy SSR for myself just because, I love the SSR but I can't leave it at a park and ride with a clear conscience. So now I'm doing deferred maintenance on my 1989 chevy stepside, it was my daily beater, its now being mechanically refreshed and morphing into a lowered rat rod (no paint or body work, but I might be lying).

    Progress... Next the stem and yes I have a big woody, it should look good with opache Preston Petty fenders, for that works bike look of 1973.
