Plug up in a VW???? I know the heat sucked in the old bugs, but the new ones have real heat don't they?

Let me guess Barry, you were riding with Busa Boy Scott????

So you guys are gear deprived, deal with it! Heat is a wonderful thing.

WTF is a Properf? The problem is, tupperware-shrouded, electric-wareing dudes, giving the momentarily-gear-deprived, real-metal motorcycle riders a hard time about frezzin they asses off.

F a Properf, whatever it is.

Well, my ride today was only marginally better than the First Annual Barry Non-Ride. I had intended to go play in West By God for a few hours. About 40 minutes from home, nearing Winchester on Rt.7, I looked down and saw oil leaking at an alarming rate from the oil filler cap area. Damn. It's been leaking for awhile now, actually, some days more than others.

So I figured I'd better head north into Maryland, the state that prefers not to use route numbers that correspond to my map, and find the Beemer dealer in Gaithersburg for some new o-rings. Let me tell you, if your looking for a fun ride I can recommend some roads better than Shady Grove Rd.! :umph

At least I got to see some new Hardleys. :rolleyes

Steve, in between the chrome toilets I did see a purty red S4R on the floor. :thumb

MMMMMM Red S4R, nope not this year.
Stevie's holding out for the new R1200+/-GS :evil

Not the cap itself, but the OEM plastic insert that the cap screws into. I'm learning that it's a common problem with oilheads. Hopefully the new o-rings will fix it.
