Howdy all you BC folks, The weekend of the 19th of Nov I'll be visiting Vic for some shopping and beer drinking and wanted to know of a decent hotel in the downtown Vic area. I was in Vic last year when the US Navy pulled into port . I had a blast there and can't wait to visit again --this time without 5,500 sailors Hotels under $100 would be best and with a jetted tub in the room. Any assistance would be great. If you are there for the beer, why not stay at BC's oldest brew pub like I did on my motorcycle trip last summer? http://www.spinnakers.com/default.aspx This is not in the center, but on the inner harbor over the bridge. You can take those little boat taxi's over to the dock in front of the Parlement building. My room was in a victorian house next to the brew pub proper and came with a steam shower.
