Looking to start the WABDR on or about June 30, fires/weather permitting. :ricky

Anyone want to come along? Post up or send me a PM!

Was originally planning to go S->N starting on Sunday morning, but it might also be fun to attend the Touratech rally and launch from there going N->S so that option is on the table.

DR650 ~200 mi range, easy pace. Expecting to finish in 4 days or so but don't mind lingering or taking side trips, stopping for pics etc. Took the first week of July off so no need to rush, and can be a little flexible on start/finish dates.

Camping near town for easy access to supplies and/or restaurants.

You’re probably finished by now. We have done the first two sections and are in Wenatchee, half way through section 3 currently- ran into some trouble before Wenatchee with the repaired washout sections... can you give an update on the route from Wenatchee heading North? (Specifically to Cashmere). We are going very slowly.

Nope, I got no takers so decided to postpone a week or so and wait for a better weather window. Next weekend is looking pretty good.

Let us know how it goes!

Section one is easy. Section two has some small sections of baby heads. We opted out of Baby Head Hill. We had some challenges in one segment of section three. There are some woopteedoos. Take it slowly and the outer line is best.
Section four starts with nasty ruts but is a great ride after that.
We are taking a work related break before completing the last two sections. We might do some of Idaho BDR in the interim and complete WA later this month.

    Thanks for the update Pippa!

Weather for the WABDR looks great through the weekend, headed down to Cascade Locks tomorrow night for a Thursday morning start if anyone wants to hook up.
