Definitely not epic but wanted to share my small solo adventure. Beginning of August I set from Vancouver BC for the WABDR. My one and only bike is an adventurized husqvarna '16 fe501. I purchased a Kenda K784 for the rear, a windshield on craigslist and loaded my mosko 80 soft bags and went from north. The inland PNW was experiencing a heatwave at the time. The temperatures were soaring above 100 degrees that was nearly as hot as the arizona desert later. After 5 or 6 days in Washington I decided to keep going south as I had time on my hands. Rested 2 days in Portland at a friends house, fixed my broken side stand and jumped over to Utah heading for the UTBDR. Every leg of it was mind-blowing. After the canyonLands white rim I had to cut short my trip due to family reasons and head to LA. The temperatures are somewhat high and I'm really looking forward to finish the BDR next spring or autumn. The over circle through LA and and the oregon-california mountains was about 8000km/5000miles long. It was overall pretty hot but I encountered 2 hail storms and some really cord freezing mornings in Oregon. My non ventilated gore-tex Jacket was a curse in the desert and a blessing on the north californian coast. There has been enough said about the BDR's so here are some pics: baby head hill Behind the windshield my travel companion Benny.
