We are riding Walla Walla to Portland. I wondered which route is most scenic? There's the 30 and the 14 I guess
    Thanks!

Everybody hate's the slab. But when it's in the Columbia gorge, that's not so bad.

Coming from Pomroy via Walla Walla, I crossed the Columbia at Umatilla. It was 90 miles more on 14 before I saw another gas station at the junction of US 97. Someone more familiar with 14 may tell us I missed one.

I remember tunnels on 14, the only place it wasn't raining that day.

Go to tri shitties (Pasco Kennewick Ricklamd) from WW..and continue west toward Mabton.. then look for the Mabton to Bickleton Rd.. better yet go north from WW up to Palouse Falls then go to Mabton. Then Bickleton, Goldendale, Klickitat Canyon... drill down on the maps in WA just north of the Columbia River...have fun.

    Cheers!
