I need a couple more votes for Hell's Not So Secret Ride to beat out the Poker Run.

Gonna be epic, where ever it goes! :lol3

...Like the sparkplug cleaning episode on Brian's old 2-stroke.
....Or me changing a toob about as far out as you can get from nowhere.
....Or taking a hail-pounding south of Joseph (what fun, not!)

If you don't show you'll never know what you missed out on until evening lies around the campfire.

Thanks LB. I did the right thing and took a 200 mile bike ride today. I do my best thinking on a bike.

I have a spare back up tire I can spoon on here. I got a flat with the tire and it was patched from the inside with a mushroom type patch that I feel good about for a mostly street ride to Enterprise. Plus I don't feel to bad about putting a flat spot on this so so tire.

    All good here...no worry's.
No need to dig around in the maintenance shop.

Looks like I'm in.... unless something comes up at work between now and Tues.
My wife and the new puppy are a maybe. If they come, it will be by truck. The missus isn't sure she could ride that far in the sidecar with the puppy.

Speaking of which, my hack should be ready to roll this afternoon. If so, it will be my first overnighter in it. Never been on gravel with it, so may need some pointers from Mr Drone and others. I'm hoping the Asotin ride and poker run are doable in the hack.

Looking fwd to ride some of hells canyon. Never been there.

Otherwise, I come alone on my BMW Rallye.

    We'll be layin' fer ya.

One thing you will miss on the hack is that feeling you get when, for no @#$%^ reason your bike just falls over.

LB, are there going to be name tags for people? I like to connect the dots when I meet people from here!

There was a compressor in the shop.
I'm planning on changing at least my rear tire there. Always trying to get one more trip
I'll bring the Baja no pinch tool and big breaker irons.

I'll have my dirt napper if someone wants to demo it for the girls shop talk.

High 90's? Just checked two weather websites and they agree on high 80's, maybe 90 or 91. Leaving tomorrow morning. Gonna take 4 days to get there. Guess what? I'm not taking the fastest route.

We love you guys. Glad you're here. Happy to help out with anything. Just ask. :thumb

Is there any etiquette you need to know? Well, yes there is. While riding on dirt and gravel roads, keep an eye on your mirrors. If a bike appears in your mirror that wasn't there before, it means that guy is riding faster than you. Duh. And he really doesn't want to eat your dust for the next 20 curves. Also, duh. Start looking for the next turnout, pull in, and let those crazy maniacs get by you.

Watching your mirrors = back country etiquette.

    Thank you very much.

So, that's the daily high, right? Looks like it gets into the low 50s or high 40s at night... right?

@Ladybug what's the etiquette on showing up later Thursday evening? If I can make it, it will be with the CRF230L in the back of the truck, and I'd throw out a tent.

I'm glad you are IN and I hope your wife and the pup can come too. @sorebutt will have to chime in about the Asotin ride since I don't know which route he will be taking this year. The poker run you will be able to do easily.

Whenever you show up is fine.

    Nice!

    That works.

There will be name tags. The most difficult part is getting people to wear them. They will be in the group area and I will work on getting people to identify themselves. :D

We need someone to shake the fence so people fall off on the correct side. Thanks for considering coming and maybe you can make it next year.
