@jaycett850 Hey mate, sorry for the late reply....

I didnt have a problem with ignition switch, seemed plenty of length, I did have problems with the harness length on the instruments but managed to get the length I needed....just.

Ive actually lowered the instruments and the ignition switch slightly just to suit myself a bit better.

    Thank's for your answer,

In fact I did the same than you for the ignition key switch and I 'll do the same for the instruments. But I am not confident with the key now, I'am affraid to brake it in case of offroad crash. Maybe to create a bracket on the side of the nav tower will be the goal for me.
Other thing, as i am using a secondary fan, I had to place spacers between the tank and the right side panel to avoid too much contact with the coolant tank.

More people need to buy these kits and posting their builds so I can live vicariously through you all. My 640E is jealous lol .

If you want a rally bike and you're not afraid on dealing with wire harness go for it, it's a total new style and a great quality product.

A small feedback after using the Aurora Kit at night. Low beam lighting is more or less like the OEM, no particular remark on it, but high beam........Damn !!! it like daylight! it's improving a lot the safety when driving on small roads with a white, bright and large light, also the feeling is improved with the clear windshield. No comparison can be done with the OEM EU light and fairing!!! I love it !

I also put an LED in the low beam.................HUGE improvement.
Are you using the Baha Sport or Pro?
I went with the Pro and its sublime! :-)

I have the Sport, not sure I need to check. For the Low beam I want to test it during the night under the rain . I experienced that very white light in this condition are not very efficient, did you try ?

My kit should be with me by end of January. Has anyone used HDB ultimate hand guards and switch panel with the kit?

I really like the clear view of the Aurora front oem ktm rally fairing.
I had a Rade garage front fairing, but sold it because I couldnt see shit when wheelying. Tried the stock one cutted down, but that sucks at high speed...
The stock one at oem length sucks also because if I get a tail hopper I smash my eyes into the faring.
So yeah, yesterday I ordered the Rade garage fairing again.... but now with the 2 LED ECE approved headlights... guess I have to get use to looking next to the bike when riding on the rear one. :p

Some one should try to convince RADE to do a clear version of his 9x0 fairing/light kit. Never worked with Lexan but maybe you can vacuum form it?

On my 950 the harness was plug n play. A manual for the conversion is included, i think there is a revised pdf version floating around here somewhere. It’s really a cake walk if you’ve ever laid a spanner to the bike in any capacity. If you can change the oil, you can install the Aurora kit.

The 990 takes a bit more work compared to the 950 massaging the harness to get the length for instruments etc, theres also a lot more wiring and harness at the front of the 990 with the extra relays, tip module, ECU etc.
You have to also make a mounting solution for the ECU. (maybe this is now included??)
Original blinkers dont fit either, I used 690 blinkers.
Its not hard but it does require a little trial and error to make things fit and you really have to pack a lot into the front with the 990.

This is what I made to fit the ECU

Seriously interested in this kit ahead of Hellas 2019. Happy with making bits fit on the 990. What are the options for roadbook setup? I’d like to keep the standard speedo and also fit a roadbook, is this possible? It won’t be a pure rally bike so still need to be able to go on trips with it.

What year 690 enduro blinkers did you use? The blinkers look like they are different in some of the pictures.

The first picture is the original 09 990 blinkers that do not fit.
    950 blinkers also dont fit.
Last picture is early 690 blinkers
