Haha, no mate - I drove up to Newcastle to pick up a bike and called in to see the 9XX guru on the way home. :-)

Haha, only because you asked mate. :-)

No room for a Ralley screen on this little one unfortunately.

And he even took me out to lunch in his car he’s pretty much rebuilt. :tb Yeah - same incredible standard or workmanship and attention to detail although I think I saw a single spec of dust on it so maybe his standard slipped a little? :lol3

Hey CoolB, That Aurora kit looks great. My question is if the side fairings have the same impact strength as the factory ones.

The only real crash I’ve encountered was in deep sand whoops where I bounced off into a sand bank. I plowed to a stop with my side fairing and other then a surface rug burn to that side fairing it was simply lift back up and ride off.

Would you consider the Aurora as crash durable or more or a cosmetic only upgrade?

Also, can you mount tubes behind it or the likes?

My personal opinion would be its far more crash resistant than the OEM bodywork and structure of the tower.
Its been crashed many times by other inmates and was also used by Chris Cork in pro racing and has had the crap beaten out of it without any issues.
Id say very crash proof and tough.
The RFR front end gives a whole new perspective as does the instruments on a tower and the lighting is awesome.
All in all, I can only say its a huge improvement in all aspects.

You cant be this brutal if its not tough

I'm scouring the markets for a donor 950 to convert up to a '2020 Aurora' sled... My Accountant simply rolls his eyes...

He drives a Prius, doesn't get it. Maybe I need a new Accountant.

Probably is... But smitten by all luscious things ‘Aurora’ and not so much the human condition... Hardware is but a small % of the fascination for some... Not being ground breakers themselves.

    Hi guys.
This thread is insane ffs !

i've a 950 adv S and want to buy either the perfect fairing or aurora kit by wanted your help in 2 decisions i need to do.

    1 - Shall i do it on my 950 or sell and buy a 990 .
2 - perect or aurora ( i like the perfect for behing in carbon, but i like more the construction of the dash of aurora ).

Btw i've stripped my bike and repainted it all, chassis, sub chassis, frame, wheels etc etc. The engine had been done to and already got both front and rear suspension worked.

    regards
