he meant the xrebel kit for the 990

about your other questions... you can carry your aurora kit with you if you choose to change from 950 to 990, just few parts to chenge.

the difference from 950 to 990 is not something easy, shuld not depend on your kit.

If i could twist a magical throttle to make you better, i would. Try and stay focused on the positive stuff you still have going on in your life. GET BETTER SOON, and then come back stronger than before!!!

Just got my kit, any last minute tips and tricks when it comes to routing of cables and maybe mounting of a galaxy active2 tab?

Starting one of the next days with tearing the bike down.

Edit: 2011 R, and started today

Things are getting together. Thinking about making a bracket for the relays, pressure sensor and the tilt sensor on the waterjet at work.

The major question is where to put the ecu. I run a ITG filter, will switch to Alon's filter sometime in the future i think, so there is space inside the frame. Will make a copy of the rottweiler glovebox holder and could add a sturdy ECU mount there.

    Any recomandations?

Merry Christmas first of all and happy to see another kit around!
ECU should go under the lower white part of the tower, there should be an aluminium bar that should go under that part. If there is not such a part, which is credited to @1coolbanana, please send an email to info@aurora-rally.com and they will sort it out.

    Keep the info coming!

Not recieved this part no, but as I tend to ride hard and close to other twin beasts, and my shocks allready have recieved large rocks, I want it better covered. Either making a billet bracket with shield, or moving it inside the bike.

Allso, are the sidepanels meant to go on top of/outside the the tank protectors?

    Is this Dimitri by coincidence?

instead of a billet, may worth going PE for example?

The panels. They go outside indeed. Protectors sandwiched in between the panel and the tanks.

    Dimitri here, yes. :freaky

We do have some POM laying around.

If i manage to get the mounts right, I'll send you som files. Think i need two new holes in the tower.

Hello, If you want to place the ECU on the lower white bracket, you need to hand made a small support. Also the white bracket needs to be flatened to not be un contact with ECU

But as you said a kind of shell will be better to protect it

Shhh, the beast is sleeping.... IMG_20191229_151121.jpg

Things is getting together.. Extended cable to the ignition, speedo has some slack, lighting is sorted, ecu goes inside, now its the rest...

What have everyone done with the relays? Zip tied to the innside? Made bracket?

Kinda want a bracket for the relays, pressure and tilt sensor, but it's a bit clumsy, but doable.. IMG_20191229_153800.jpg

Have seen coolbana's solution for tilt and reciever, but want it inside to alow for putting stuff on the tower. Tool roll at the front for example.
