I am up for next week but I have to put on a new rear tire lol. Check out the ride report I just did today for why.. (shameless plug) http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=529245

Other than the usual reluctance to ride in hurricane force winds and desire to sleep until 7am at least I'm game lol :lol3

That tire ain't bad:lol3 You ought to have seen the last Tourance I pulled off, It had cords hanging off of it:wink: Yoou might look at TKCs instead of the Karooos if you want to stay with knobs. TKCs seem to last about 3,000 miles

I've got new heated gear for that, but my bike is in the shop for a warranty repair they're having trouble figuring out. It won't be ready until next week!:(:

The 6th at what time and exactly where. I'm in SW Fort Worth, but am willing to head your way. Gotta get a few things fixed on my bike, but the parts are in the garage, so its just a matter of getting it done.

Pick a time and a spot. My back tire looks like Uncle Fester's shiny head but.......hey. It ain't THAT bad. At least it's holding air and if not I can bring the mighty KiLleR.

Here's the route I was planning to take down your way. I know, its not the fast way...

Hopefully that link works. I'm a google map noob. Some things I really like about it, others are impossible to work well. Let me know if you can see it.

I don't know the loco Coyote, but I'm good to try anything.

Both my tires and skills have limited grip...

Will Meridian work for everyone and time is flexible. I would say 9ish so we can cover some roads back roads before heading toward Granbury for lunch at Loco Coyote and to make it easier for DFW guys to head home. Slowoldguy, is Rod joining us?
