In tradition, we have reserved Sites 1-30 for Friday and Saturday nights.

Sites 15,16,17,21 are reserved for the HDIC and his minions.

Site 19 is party central. You are welcome to pop a tent there but you must be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Thursday has become the new Friday so we also have fifteen sites reserved for Thursday (Sites 7-21). And the (not so) super secret party we have that night. Thursday night options are limited, so sign up early!!!! It is worth it to show up early, trust me. If you want to come earlier than this or stay later you MUST work out your reservation with MRA!!

RV'ers. Aside from the few that bring all the crap required to put this fiasco on, there will be NO reserving of sites. If you RV/Truck/Trailer in you take your chances.

THINGS TO KNOW IF YOU ARE DRIVING IN:

RV Note: There are a VERY FEW LIMITED places we can put them, 4-5 sites tops. If you've been there you know what I mean. Because of the limited availability they will be on a first come first parked basis. Any trailer over 25' is almost impossible to park!!!!! If you think you can get into a space and it's full of tents it'll be up to you to ask them to move (good luck with that). If you're RVing you pays your money and takes your chances. Usually by Friday at noon they are taken. Plan accordingly by asking your scout to stake a claim if you're going to be late. Remember, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN for finding a place if the prime spots are taken. You BETTER be an ACE at backing......and many, many people will be watching you offering constant advice with drinks in hand

Don't over think this event to much. Some ride a lot. Some ride a little, or even don't ride at all! There really are no "organized" rides. It's kinda link up with some like minded inmates and let the cards fall where they may mostly. If you want to ride single track or only pavement you can do both, one, or neither. This event is what YOU want it to be. At least that's been my experience. A judgemental lot we're not.

A few quotes from previous years threads:

“There are a few normal folks with whom you can hang out. Probably. Maybe. OK, probably not, but you could BE the normal folks. Maybe you could even convert one or two of these lost cause/wayward folks to normalcy. Not likely, though”

“My first Warped, I didn't know very many people. I bump into Gerg. first words out of his mouth were "do you have a glass? What some beer?" [IMG] Next thing I knew it was morning. [IMG]

“WARPED is going to be the best fun most of you FF's will experience all year. “

Sure there are a lot of crusty old bastards who have attended for years. We all relish the opportunity to see each other and bag on each other in person. But we're really nice to the n00bs. Just come for three or four years and then that may change...

Imagine a whole campground with nice hot showers, ice and firewood delivered to your site (extra for that) and a bunch of kegs of excellent beer.

The area is so much fun for riding. Singletrack, doubletrack, forest roads, mountain twisties. Death Valley is just over the ridge. Meet up with a bunch of FF's and go riding! Come back and good cold beer is waiting for you.

    Sorry Pail

    Payment

I know many of you but I am HORRIBLE with names. I'm even worse when I have TWO names to remember. If you don't put your ADV name in your payment I have no idea who to mark as paid. If you send me $$ without your adv and meat space name I'm just going to consider it a donation to the beer fund. Assume I know you at your own risk.

We will collect the money in one of two ways. I'm going old school here to keep costs to a min.

Check: made out to “Michael Steele” (PM me for the address)

Paypal: Shunka88@gmail.com (It will say you paid "Michael Steele." That's me.) Price is PER PERSON $65 Fri-Sat $95 Thur-Sat. Extra nights are between you and MRA.

If you use Pay Pal, please remember that they take a few dollars (3%) for processing. I would appreciate it if you could please add a couple of dollars to cover that cost.

Please identify your payment with (1) your AdvRider handle, (2) your legal name, (3) which nights you will be camping. This will help me with the making of the name tags. If both names are not included it is a good chance that we will make one up for you and we will not be nice.
