I neglected to note the pic of the intersection in Assfault's post. Consequently I did a Google search for the "Southern Michigan Beagle Club" and got an address in Grass Lake, which is very much NOT where the sign was located. I re-checked his post, lit out again, and subsequently found the proper intersection.

    My new pic as follows:

Whomsoever that be skinny enough to fit betwixt these spires shall be rewarded with a sweet albeit short leaf strewn ride to an ancient plank bridge. Be wary of trolls underneath! You may need to fold your mirrors in!

No, that's Fastlady's XT. Just thought I'd take it out and blow the cob webs out of it. Only had 300 miles put on it in the last two years. Nice little bike, and a joy to putz down the back roads on. I put 80 miles on it today.

^Campsite C22 was fairly nice the night we spent out there last Tuesday (After enduring the entirety of the Potowatomi Trail XP). My friend and I felt bad for the guy that got the site right next to the water pump. lol

Indeed. We opted for the human powered cycles. Ended up terrifying some munchkin on the trail .

    Meanwhile, back at the ranch....

    Crooked_Lake_Tag.jpg

This stone hut is on Grand River between Howell and Fowlerville. My earliest recollection of it was as a gas station about 1970. It's been boarded up for many many years.

It seemed fairly easy to find.
You gave the road name, and the address is on the sign.
2+2=4 the win. Maybe I should be an insurance investigator.

I know it's short notice, but if anyone is interested in a mostly dirt-road day ride around Livingston/Washtenaw county tomorrow (Sunday, Sep 20th, 2020) meet me at the Pinckney Railway station at about noon. The Railway station is located on D-19 (Howell/Pinckney Rd) several blocks north of downtown Pinckney. It looks to be a bright sunny day, and the temperature will be about mid-60's. I'll be going for a ride regardless, but I wouldn't mind some company.

I would but I’m stuck in the UP.
