Loved this RR, and of course the photography
Thank you for your hard work.
Dave6253, all I can say is wow. I've taken rides on those same roads and my pictures never came close to how I remember it actually looked thru my eyes. your pics really convey the true depth and colors. Not sure how that HDR works, but m gonna find out. Thanks for the great RR. You guys rock.
That was just what I needed to combat my cabin fever on a cold and wet day. Thanks for taking the time to post!
dave, thnx for the thumbs up today. did it back in 2013, never never regrets and even went back last year for 2 weeks to canada to visit my alaska travel cousin. but more about my alaska adventure on www.ajklik.nl/alaska
i will be back!
Came back for seconds...went through your trip again. Just fantastic!
I am so appreciative of your hard work in getting the shots, writing, editing the pictures, creating the videos and posting up without any expectation of reward or compensation. You sir, are a splendid example of what makes this site so wonderful. A huge thank you also to your bride for her work in this tremendous work of art.
What Dave said!... Most have no idea how much effort and thought goes into each photograph, video and post. Your story makes those of us left behind feeling like we are part of your ride. Well done!
Yeah, gonna have to go again, sometime ....
Dave, even though I left something behind during my Alaska trip in 07, it's left a part of Alaska in me. Hope you feel the same.
Thanks Dave! Loved this!!
I like to read a few pages every time this pops back up - still the gold standard for a two-up AK trip and an amazing packing job.
Sorry for your tip over misfortunes at Watson Lake - comes with motorcycling - if a stationary tipover has not happenned to you yet, it's going to!
Thanks for posting the Super Tanker Alaskan Legend photo - My career employer build that ship and her sister ships in San Diego, heartwarming to seeing the tankers in actual service!
