Thanks all for your Kind coments and wishes. We will try to enjoy the time off the road and prepare for the next ride. (and get all the Problems solved at home)
    Cheers Thomas

Don´t talk About the weather Peter. Its only raining once today and it hasn´t stopped, but it might be dry tomorrow. If so I´ll try to get my old BMW running as the KTMs are not streetlegal in Switzerland at the Moment and I need some Transport.
    Cheers Thomas

Thanks everyone for your Kind words and good wishes to our homecoming (specially the NM devision)

We have OEM seats of the Adventure model on our bikes and are quite happy with them. If you don´t do too Long days they are Pretty comfy for what they cost.
And after 19 years on the 640 your butt isn´t very sensitiv anymore.

I will do a short summary on the trip, but it will still take some time as I am Pretty busy.
My old BMW and the KTMs are all registered again and the beemer is running. The KTMs have to be changed to streetlegal again what means a complete swap of the rear end and exhaust. I took Sandras bike apart allready and got the leaking shock out. It is in a box and on the way to the guy Fixing that leak and giving it a good look for other wear, so please be Patient.

Take all the time you need. Great that you are home and I hope you enjoy that. Amazing that the entire rear end has to be changed for legality in the 1st world. Much discussion could become of that. All the best!

The whole rear subframe with the additional tanks and the exhaust are homemade and we have a Pretty strict technical inspection every 2 years in Switzerland and they would not accept that. It could be dangerous and too loud and...…..
