    That's Charles Goman's bike - contact him through Ossa South or the AMA (he was on the board - not sure if his term is up yet)

    He races vintage motocross and I don't think he's crazy enough yet to try to race the Yankee.

    Nice! This 750 pic reminds me of my first street bike - a 77 GT550 2-Smoker......can't find any pictures.....toooo long ago....

    I'm a dirt only guy now.......but I still have a 2-Smoker for my "cheater" dual sport rig :lol3

    at least 80mpg every tank, if I recall. speeds would be anywhere around 60 to 80 kph.

    as a response to sir Kbasa;
    at least (think about it.) separate forums for boxers , airhead etc, from everything else. two smoke or not.
    searching the oldschool forum . ugh. it's all airheads and boxers. anything else gets bumped three pages back.

    kinda like the scooter forum, trials forum, etc....
    if the brand spec' "BMW" olds cool wasn't just over run with boxers it would make everyone who doesn't box lives much easier.

    As this Thread is going to page two, here another rebuild, a big two stroke single cylinder bike, KTM 500, very nasty power output in original set up. I try to calm this engine down, by using a flywheelweight (brass ring = + 2 pounds).
    Smaller carb diameter, 1mm less, Sixdays airbox, (smaller holes to brathe through), a Sixdays exhaust with additional middle silencer, (Original KTM made for Geländesport bikes back then) and less compression without changing the engine timing which was tricky and ended in a custom made piston (the bike already have an iron sleeved barrel inside the cylinder, (not standard). Very cool too it has a road registration.

    This is the Moped with which I made my first riding experiences in the very late 70's. The bike is from the mid 60's, a Finnish Tunturi, with 50 cc Puch engine:
