    341 PM PST TUE FEB 24 2004
    .A VIGOROUS WINTER STORM APPROACHING THE WEST COAST WILL BRING
    STRONG GUSTY WINDS TO MOST OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
    BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUING INTO WEDNESDAY. SOUTHEAST
    WINDS WILL INCREASE AHEAD OF THE STORM SYSTEM BEFORE DAWN WITH
    SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF 20 TO 40 MPH. GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH WILL BE
    POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE OCEAN AND BAYS AND OVER HIGHER
    TERRAIN.
    THE HIGHEST WIND SPEEDS ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR JUST AHEAD OF AND WITH
    THE PASSAGE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT WEDNESDAY. FOLLOWING THE FRONTAL
    PASSAGE...WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST AND DECREASE SOMEWHAT...
    BUT WINDS WILL REMAIN GUSTY INTO THURSDAY.

    I rode in the last storm we had and it sucked. This one is probably going to be just as sucky. I think I'll stay home as much as possible. The winds are already starting to pick up. Crap...I haven't even had a chance to fix my fence damage from the last one yet.
