screws for me.
depends on the weather and location
December 20 is a tentative date?
I better get some parts ordered on Monday
I might put some screws in for the winter ride, not sure yet.
Dec 20 for this area sounds good for me.
Whats the plan for Dec. 20? Thats not the winter ride campout is it?
Any one up for an off road Lake County adventure ( I would recomend street legal dirt bikes ie. drz, ktm, maybe KLR w/o side bags. Tough single track, fields, creeks. The kind of day where you expect to break something!
A trip towards Skadamo's play area.
Start in Grayslake, end up in wherever Skadamo lives, by way of Mchenry area, down through Crystal lake etc.
Were discussing a ride down by Chain's hood. 12/20 is a tentative date to do another day ride. you game?
as far as the Lake Co Adventure...
Looks like Grayslake to Carpentersville is 25 road miles. I could contribute a 15 mile, 3 dirt destination loop on top of what you have in mind...
I think Dec. 20 is a day ride down near chains area. Maybe alot of sand? (I hope?). I may be interested in a ride up in your area as well. I thinkin DRZ for it...Thurs or Fri. of this week??
3 makes a it a group ride. DRZ for sure. A raw RR track crossing may be in the mix. those are always good for a forced superman or 2.
Nice Tires! Glad to see someone's gonna get some use out of them - sure wish I had a bike they fit on!!
Sounds like a great ride! Maybe next time I'll get to come along...spent the day tied to the phone and the 'puter putting out fires, then drove to St. Louie for the remainder of the week. Passed Skinner and the boys in Mackarango on their way back to the'burbs.
The 20th won't work for me as I'm most likely back in St. Louis -- if not....I may join you.
20th maybe. I'll start a thread for LC adventure.
Funny, we were talking about Sears bikes in Galena over lunch. Chain mentioned the Sears pooch and were like what? Here's the beauty...
Long live Sears...I mean Kmart...Sears Corp!!!
