Welcome to the ADVrider Racing Forum! We are proud to be the home of bench racing at every level, from your backyard to world championships. There are a few things we'd like you to keep in mind as you are a part of our racing community here. Please don't post race results in thread titles. Be nice. You might learn something. We are lucky to be ground zero for the rally scene and have knowledgable folks from many other disciplines as well. Flame wars tend to drive these sort of folks away, they have better things to do than argue on the internet. By all means, ask your questions, express your opinions, but remember the racing world is small and if you make are making a big stink, it doesn't help you and it doesn't help the site. We hold a pretty tight line on civility. Racing is often a commercial activity. Advrider is a non-commercial site. To reconcile this, we have a simple rule: You are welcome to post about what you are doing (or planning to do). We love the stories that race teams, race organizers, and racers come here to share. So, experiences are welcome here, even if they have a commercial angle (like a race organizer). But we draw the line at anything that can be acquired or rented- the "stuff" of racing goes in vendors. One minor exception: If you are a racer and make a single post about selling swag in your thread about your racing experience, that's fine, but anything more or any continued discussion should have a vendor thread, and if the only thing you intend to do is peddle something for your team, put that in Vendors as well. For those of our inmates who have rally related bits and pieces of their own, that they would like to sell - to like minded members of the world wide and relatively close knit rallye fraternity - by all means, use our Rallye Flea-market (posted as a sticky immediately below this one). Read the rules and take care of your ADVert. We have a shiny new search function. If there's an event or a subject you're interested in, give search a spin, and see if people have already started a thread on that topic. So once again, welcome... enjoy the forum and remember... ride fast and take chances! best regard's, Ned & troy c/o the management.
