Had been riding in Colorado for six days. Came to Lake City, looked at the Texan, went home.

Glad to see Colorado had some great rides and great folks. Sorry we missed it this year, maybe next.

We are in the process of moving out of our house, into much smaller digs, and if anyone would like two mugs from WestFest 07 with three bar towls, pm me and for the cost of shipping I will send them on to anyone who didn't get either at the rally.

    Dean -

Had a great time at WF08. Thanks for stepping up.

And if you are looking for input, I think making a donation to the MAWF is a great idea.

I had a great time meeting alot of you D/S biker trash. Especially finding curbjumper & party on Hwy 92 & ridin' in with them! Thanks Dean & Jenn for allowing a last minute addition to the fun. Next time I'll get there early enough to enjoy some rides!! I think you did a great job considering all the hurdles thrown in your path.

I would like to get a T-shirt if any are available. Hayduke; were you in charge of that?

I have a good number of pictures, a good number of those suck, and the rest will get posted when I have enough money to get a smugmug. (I'm so broke right now I can'y pay attention. :bluduh ) I have a photobukkit...but I have no clue as to how many pictures I can have on it, and I don't much like it anymore.

So for now I'll do this: My List of Thank Yous.

To Dean and Jen: Thank you for putting your asses and your sanity on the line. I had a great time. To hell with the bastards claiming "Clusterfuck"...if it was a charlie foxtrot, I need to have more of them.

To Austin (Aka Ratty2Austin): Thanks for the good conversation, and making sure I got all the way back to my cabin Saturday night. I was beyond blitzed, and appreciate the assistance.

To FatChance: Again, thank you for the good conversation. I really appreciate a good geology chat.

To Ian and Farscape: Thank you thank you thank you for putting that bolt in. You didn't have to, but you did it anyway, and I consider you good people for doing so.

To Farscape: Thanks for the award, and the excuse to come back next year.

To Ballistic Ken, and by extension Delicate Little Flower: Thank you for the gloves. They are pimptastic, and are very comfortable. They prolly kept my hands from going numb as we popped over Slumgullion at 7-ish am Sunday.

To Evil Ken and Elizabeth: Thank you for sharing your time. (And the rum.)

To Ethan and Christina: Thank you for cooking for us. It was good stuff.

To the peeps that showed up to help do food Saturday: Thanks. It would have been annoying with fewer people than we had, and I'm glad we had a good time.

To Bonnie Abbzug and Hayduke: Thanks for making shirts. You can never have too many shirts.

To Klay: Thank you for the use of your wrench, and being an all-around good guy.

To Jon and Paige, my riding partners: Thank you for putting up with me. I wasn't near as fast as you were and realizing that waited for me. I'm absolutely sure the ride ther and home would have been a lot more boring without you, and I thank you for inviting me to ride along with you.

I prolly forgot some people, and as such I regret that and apologize.

Here's to hoping that next year is just as adventurous as this one was.

It was great to meet many of you at WestFest - sorry I didn't get an opportunity to meet more of you. What a blast!!

I big thank you to GSDude for organizing it. The riding was just incredible. I definitely need to go back to Colorado to do some more riding!! I lived there 14 years ago and forgot how amazing it is.

Thanks for Ganshert and Meathead for a great ride on Saturday. Somehow we managed to stay out of trouble (and on the trail)

I don't think Meathead's smile could get any bigger. Clearly he is having a miserable time.
