As long as it's in da west, sounds good to me.

Shouldn't we recover a bit before thinking of WF 08?

And who will step up and organize it?

I think Fat Chance said it best! I went to Ouray, Idaho City, and Buena Vista, and the Colorado Rallies were 4-5 times the crowd. Yes, I believe it was, Location, Location, Location. It was a FUN RALLY in Idaho City, Great People, and quite close to Canada:wink: However you just can't beat Colorado for being in the middle of the country, and Great Stuff EVERYWHERE!
Usually BYOB, and the Eastern Rally in Hot Springs, NC are very rarely attended by anyone west of the Mississippi, unless your Wayne Weber!:evil :clap So, Lake City , Colorado sounds Great!!!!! That way Fat Chance can do the awards giveaways again!:lol3

I don't think it's too early. finding a venue for the best time (pre-monsoon, say 1st week of July?) in Colorado is gonna be tough. Lot's of places are booked up more than a year in advance.

I've already got a trophy. :deal

And speaking of stuff I can't use do you think Jonathan would want a nice leather vest? He's a good size kid so if he can wear an XL size I'll send it your way.
    Let me know.

    S

The one I have wears me out.
A second would kill me. :yikes

I'll send you an invite the next time I zig and zag through Oregon. :deal

We'll of course need to zig and zag through CA first. :nod

Well, I think it's the same distance for me to travel to California or Rhode Island, so anywhere between those two, and as long as I have a bike I'll be there.

BTW, the Boulder to Boulder to Boulder trip sounds fun, who wants to do it next year. You know there's also a Boulder in MT and ID.

GSDude--do you have any ideas for a place that could handle it near (or in) LakeCity? I know of a few cabin places up over the twin passes south of town towards Creede. But I can't think of any thing that could handle a gathering of the size we've had the past two years. :scratch-- Not that I've been scouting locations, just can't think of a place, off the top of my head, that could handle us there.

I loved Sipapu too, but moving the rally around a bit sounds good and will keep all the riding around fresh for everyone. Gunnison Colorado or Taylor lake near Crested Butt(e) as a location come to my (feeble) :lol3 mind. Plenty of off roading all over the place....just saying......

they had the recent rally in Bishop California. Very nice scenery, bit more rustic by the looks of Sipapu but great riding. Granted it's on the left coast but nice. Colorado... California... anywhere west of 'Ol Miss I'm in. yeah I gotta get de-noobed I suppose. :eek1
