I use it with the 1090 no problems but make sure you have at least 2 tie downs on it and make sure the wheels on the lift are well off the ground
They are ones I built from 3/8" round stock. The main reason I built my own, well ok two reasons, I'm cheap and because I have four sets of bicycle panniers and they are made to clip on to 5/16" or 3/8" bars. Most of the moto racks I looked at seemed to be made from larger tubing size. I'm really happy with how this set turned out, these are the third version I've built for different bikes.
