LOL, I'll keep that in mind!
I'm not going to be the only one on a big bike am I?
Don't want to slow everyone down.
I'm on an Africa Twin. Jim is on a KTM 690. Big E KTM 1190
Geeze it's dead in here!
We are all out riding
Sure wish I was out riding. no motorcycles in 3 weeks and counting
Selling my No Mar Classic tire changer, willing to help with delivery.
Thanks for looking!
Might be because its over 110 degrees from Tucson to Boise... Man we must have really ticked off the man upstairs. What crap year on every level
You got that right!
Speaking of 2020...
I have imaging set for Monday and I know I need at least one more spine surgery. How serious it is I don't know yet. I'll know when I visit my surgeon and review the CT scans. I've had 6 spine surgeries so far with rods, plates and a spinal cord stimulator implant over the past 4 years. I'm not going to stop riding unless the act of riding has a distinct possibility of paralyzing me. I know crashing does but that's a different story.
I just got my bike out of the shop replacing the rectifier, stator, rear pads, front and rear tires, full tune up and I have a new rear shock ordered and on its way. I also have a new jacket and about to order new boots and a pair of pants
2020 can kiss my hairy ass cause, I'm not going to stop riding.
Love that Tiger triple motor. I had an 2011 800GS for a few years and always liked that triple as I had a Sprint GT for awhile. Good lick with the medical stuff.
Damn man. hang in there and kick some ass
Thanks man! I had never heard a Triumph triple until I looked at this purchasing this bike. I've owned a dozen or so Kawasaki 900's, 1000's and 1100's back in the day with my last being #007 of 750
1982 Eddie Lawson Replica 1000R I bought myself for my 20th birthday.
As soon as I started this Triumph I was in love with the sound because it's sounds exactly like a KZ1000 with a lopped off cylinder! It really takes me back in time everytime I start the bike. The Arrow exhaust is just icing on the cake.
I never would have imagined bikes being built like they are today. I mean, I feel and hear a KZ type motor in an enduro bike... It's crazy when you step back and look at the progression through the years.
Thanks bud I really appreciate you.
That Kawasaki is a killer bike. I had a 1980 Kawasaki LTD 440 for a few years. Not the most exciting bike but at the time it was all I had in the world and it never failed.
The 440 was bullet proof as my buddy would say. Man he mistreated his badly and it never missed a beat.
Anybody looking to ride this weekend? Preferably big bike? Even a quick trip up to some cooler weather and dirt?
My bike is on a moving truck or I would say "heck yes". The other issue is until this heat wave breaks there isn't much "cooler" to be had. Kanab Utah is breaking records at 105 degrees for the rest of the week. California is roasting. Payson will hit 95 today and getting warmer. Kingman is 102. Hell its 105 in Boise Idaho.
The master of the universe is obviously very angry this year.
Actually I wouldn't mind headng up to the Flag area but I'm having a rear shock installed on my bike Saturday morning. Sure would be nice to trailer bikes up and not have to ride up in this hellish heat but I have no way of doing that as I sold my truck. Regrets...
I'll be moving to my new house in North Central Phx on the 27th. Bringing my KTM 690R. My riding buddy is coming out there for a few weeks with his Beta 430 too. I know it's hot, but we'll be looking to do a few day trips, and maybe a couple-nighter in the Sedona/Flagstaff area one weekend. Just wanted to say hey, and hope to see you all out there soon!
