Date, place and time to be decided. Hopefully in the middle of April, Kansas City area riders are invited to attend Barley Therapy. Suggestions of venue and date are encouraged.

You say when and where and I'll do my best to be there.
You guys are always welcome to come to Lawrence. There are some nice brew pubs and the local coed scenery is nice. We could even do a mini rally at my place. I live just south of Lawrence on Hwy 59 we have 32 acres with plenty of room to camp out after hitting all the bars downtown so no one would have to travel a major distance home under the influence.

Also, Cletus posted a thread about doing a local BBQ run.

The Lawrence idea is a winner.
Parkville has an excellent brew pub and some great roads.

How about we put together a late morning GS ride somewhere followed by a BBQ-n-Barley session at some as-yet-to-be-determined-hot-spot? :beer

Sounds good to me. We need to pick a date. How 'bout the second weekend in April. Either Saturday or Sunday will work for me. If we try for Saturday, we can always go to Sunday if the weather doesn't cooperate.

April is going to be crazy for me so I'm going to decline from making any suggestions concerning the date.

Well, Cletus, hopefully you can join us for the BBQ even if you can't ride with us. We will keep you in mind for the eating part. We still need a suggestion for a place to eat whether we ride or not.

It looks like I'm going to be out of town the second weekend in April, so I don't think I'm going to be able to join you. Maybe we can put together another BBQ ride for sometime in May.

As far as places to go for BBQ... Here's a list.

For what it's worth, LC's, BB's and Smoke Stack are my favorites.

Yeah! I'm there, too, and if we need a place to ride to I got some great gs areas up here near Leavenworth and Atchison then on to Lawrence on some cool backroads. I may even take you to my ultra secret "best get-away" place in this area! (no street bikes allowed unless you're wanting to remove your belly-pan without tools!) It's a very cool, remote place on the Mo river that makes a great short ride destination and as icing on the cake, it incorporates a trip down the best 10 miles in KS...hwy 5! :evil

I'm flexible on dates, would like to do some off road riding prior to the therapy.

    Overlander; I'm in your area.

Cletus, would the 17th work for you? Overlander, you're incharge of the ride route, and on to Larryville for BBQ. Meeting place?

Give me a general idea how early and how many, whether any one has auto-coms or not, and whether breakfast is needed as well. Hey RENEGADE6 meet me at the LV high school someday, I teach the auto mech class there. We can make up a route.

The middle 2 weekends of April are good for me. The last weekend in April is the Blessing of the Bikes rally in Frontenac Kansas. It is a great 3-day party that has really grown if anyone is interested. click here

Any way let me know when and where to show up, and I'll be there.

We can meet at my new shop in the west bottoms area of KC where I've got the Hooters girls scheduled to serve us breakfast. I'm it having catered in from Cracker Barrel. The menu will be as follows; biscuits and gravy, sausage (patties only no link), scrambled eggs w/bacon, coffee and juices. For a $1.00 gratuity, the Hooters girls will dispense fuel for you from the gas station across the street who have donated up to 50 gallons of fuel on a first come, first served basis. They may even, if asked nicely, pull on your leg in a way similar to the way I'm pulling on yours....check the date of the post! :rofl
