Looking forward to riding Low594, maybe next year I'll keep it upright! But what fun is that?

advtenn was it you who fell asleep? I followed some interesting tracks....

Duke, it was good to meet you. Salida was my only hotel nite for the whole two weeks and it was right next door to a Mexican resturant with good margaritas!!!

I've got some vids I'm trying to upload to smugmug. They aren't uploading? I'm still in the free trial period and suggestions?

to all of the good folks who put this whole West Fest thingy together and showed us Yanks a great time. There wasn't even a hint of a lynching or a pick'em-up dragging in the air all weekend long. Cool beans folks, I can't wait to get a proper dirt bike out there and do it again.

    Hiya folks! :wave

So sorry I've been absent this thread for so long ... quite a tale to tell, but that will have to wait for another thread.

But I just had to pop my head in here to say that I've just pushed the donate button to send Baldy a grand total of $3006!

Big thanks to Shady Rascal, Kinsamn, MoonDogMT, Sprouxj, Senior Moment,
Sgt. Marty, and all the guys who helped pre-ride the MT1000.

And a bigger thanks to all you fucking fucks for showing up.
I had a great time watching all you morans play.

I'll post my pix one of these days, but I gotta get through a bunch of moving boxes and stuff first.

    Again, long story ...

    Thanks all, it was grand.

And I ain't doing shit at WetFest 'cept drink some beers.

    :wave

Thanks for being a ringleader on this affair. We had a great time. Also nice to hear of the superb donation to ADV and Baldy!

Safe landing, wherever that may be.

    Hey Thumper,

That's a GREAT idea! Darby has to be a perfect location; great trails, great campsite, good access, and incredible locals. Besides it would give me a great chance to meet up with Shady Rascal and his phenomenal wife Val again. Don't think we'll be able to get Timmer back into a dress again though:rofl.

Learned a lot, met a incredible group of folks, young and old. What do we need to do to convince the MT gang to do it again??
