    The Gunnison KOA is offering a special tent rate of 10.00 pp/per night. Since everybody has a different idea of what camping is/should be, I did'nt want to include a tent fee with the registration, but here is some of what you get for your money;
    Yummy food! (Two dinners and three breakfast's)
    Happy hour with snacks and cool beverages
    Super cool T'shirts and stickers!
    Lot's of laughs with old friends and a few with some of your new friends you're bound to make!

    Friday 8/5

    0630-Coffee. (Thanks BigJohn for the coffee potsJ)

    0700-0900 Breakfast and ride planning at the pavilion

    1500-1800 Check in I’ll probably be hanging around the pavilion, so get set up, relax, grab a cold one, then come find me or Denise “TigerDen”

    1600-1800 Happy hour and snacks at the pavilion (beer,wine and other beverages)

    1800-1930- The “Whole Chicken dinner” at the pavilion

    1800-1930 Catered Pulled pork BBQ dinner at the pavilion

    2000 Denoobing ! Get ready to get your game on, and look amazing at the same time!!

    Sunday 8/7

    0630 Coffee

    0700-0900 Continental breakfast

    Cost-$75.00
    Paypal to Emsecho15@yahoo.com
    Please include your ADV handle and your T shirt size with your Paypal order
    if you pay with paypal please add $3.00 to cover the paypal fees, or use the friends and family option.

    Liability waiver,
    Some legal stuff;
    By attending this event, you are agreeing that you are responsible for your own actions. If you have a mishap, it’s on you. If you wreck your bike or someone else's bike you’ll need to sort it out with the involved parties. We’re all friends here, so let’s be cool, have fun and don’t do anything too stupid.
    Thanks, Delta21

    Great time last year as well. Good group of folks. If my new job (whatever that may be) allows, I'll be there with the missus!

    The whole chicken dinner was nearly as good as the riding earlier this year. Maybe I was just really hungry!

    This will be my 5th Westfest I'm in. I had a ball last year taking a group over to Silverton and back and doing the Devils Punchbowl to Marble and back. Also we love this KOA and have been staying here going on 6 yrs, Dave ( the owner) is a super good guy. PS the Hartman Rocks ORV area is about 1 mile from the KOA and it big enough to get lost in. I AM IN already have my RV space reserved at the KAO.

    There is a little (or big) something for everybody! There are no organized rides, but there will be groups heading out and you are more than welcome to follow your new friends!
    If someone has some good ideas for rides and is willing to be a ride leader, please feel free to post up!
    I would like to explore the Hartman Rocks area a little more this year.

    How late can one be officially 'In'?

    Last year I could have made it, and this year looks to be the same. I won't know until a week or two prior though.

    This was a blast last year and one of the best ADV events I have been to and I have been too quite a few over the years. Great food, excellent beverage selections and the firewood stack was awesome. Nice laid back atmosphere and very good riding for small or big bikes. Let the denoobing begin....
    Can I start packing yet?????:beer

    Where is the thread from last years westfest? Are all the pictures somewhere on the forum? Maybe we should link it to this thread for hype/informative purposes.

    I will probably lead the ride over to Lake City, then over to Silverton and back to Gunnison. We will go over on Imogene Pass then come back on Engineer Pass . I took a group over last year and we had a ball. I also may do a ride thru Crested Butte to the Devils Punchbowl and back .

    Anyone who would like to go I will be at the campground the Monday thru Westfest and the following Monday. I will be camped on the pond in a motorhome and black Chevy PU wit 2 KTMs and a Honda XR650 Honda. Come by and see me about rides in the area. Lets have some fun
