Made me look that one up aye? :D

Thought you had us on....like when a mate posted a ride-report about a "Slow Road to Muckle Flugga".
Which also turned out to exist, gulp.

I was given it by a music friend way back in the 80's when I was at university. I used play a mandolin in a band and they thought I could do with one! I had no idea what it was when I opened the box.

I brushed up on cooking meals under the supervision of the chief cook.
Now allowed to fly solo at times.

Best bit is you get to choose whats for t.

My cooking has improved too, but I do all the cooking so I guess that makes me head chef in our household.

Most of NZ this morning: Holy shit, how's the toilet paper and alcohol situation at home?

Oldbeer: Crickey, I'm nearly out of PVA glue and I could do with some more sandpaper.

No I'm all right for those thanks. More concerned about peanut butter and brocolli this time.

Walked up to the bakery with my grandson for a gingerbreadman, croissant and a coffee first thing. The local vege shop was queued out the door. FFS....have people learned nothing from last time??.

While we sat consuming our respective purchases there was nose to tail traffic heading through our normally quiet little suburban backwater. Presumably off to the supermarket to rape and pillage the toilet paper. We might be a team of 5 million but some of the team are ignorant, selfish wankers.

This lockdown is going to be different for me as this time my lovely daughter in law is back at work and I'll have a three year old and 10 month old to look after three days a week. I don't think I'll get as much time in the shed...

    First world problems...

Feel for the poor tourism sector. They could do without this. But its probably the first of many such outbreaks. And for anyone who had to postpone a wedding until August this year. That would break your heart wouldn't it?

    Onwards and upwards.....

You got that right. A vaccine is a long way off. It's going to be a juggling act for a while. Really feel for the small business guys too.

Absolutley gutted with this evenings news.
I was expecting the whole country to go to level 3 and what happens everywhere not Auckland stays at level 2.
There goes my plans of shed time for the next two weeks .
    Back to work monday :(:(

But seriously lets do our best to keep this one under control.
Summers is coming and we all want to be riding without any worries that are not bike related.
I was speaking with an Aucklander this evening and he was not happy staying at level 3 but its for our own good.
It could easily have been somewhere else in the country and the roles would have been reversed.

Amazing story. Its not often that an audience sits in total silence for a film, no fidgeting, coughing eating popcorn etc.
And its got motorbikes in it.
