I did a twofer this month. Sold the ktm 350 excf and Klr650 and bought a ktm 1190r and a bmw r1200rt. I won't disclose prices as I stole them both in my opinion. I got them all serviced and they have been great so far. Now for some trip planning!

Just love those cylinders... Imagine another couple on there like a bow tie! I just love the radial cylinder set up,

I saw the R18 in the showroom a couple weeks ago. Beautiful bike. And those cylinders are massive. They were like a well endowed woman wearing something low-cut and you trying not to stare... :-)

Does the SP having anything over the regular GROM, or just an appearance package?

Nope, just appearance compared to the other non abs 2022 models.

Compared to my original stock 14 Grom that I have 7000 miles on the new engine and 5 speed gear box is a winner. The 22 is much preferred for the city riding I do. Performs stronger and maintains higher speeds much easier and with a dash of grace. The new bike does it all with less effort. Stronger and faster too by my seat of the pants observations.

In other words, I can't think of an area where it falls short of the 14.

After the first 600 miles averaging 134.5 mpg I began riding normal and averaged 124.9 and 120.9 mpg respectively on the last 2 fill ups.

Not wot normal through every gear, but that will come.

    Yowza!

I took my oldest son to the Duc dealership when he was 9 and they had one of those on the floor. We ogled it for a while and the salesman started it up for us, son is 22 now and still talks about it from time to time.

The exhaust note brings to mind the thought of expensive lingerie being ripped...

I sold my f800gs and was shopping for a r1200gs this month. I decided to test ride a Multistrada just for the hell of it and here's what happened. I don't care what anyone says I'm still putting dual sport tires on it. 2014 1200S Touring.

I've been flip flopping on whether to keep my T120 or trade for a GS. I've not liked the deals I have seen but I really liked what I saw in a new R1250RS. I rode the 135 miles to Temecula to have personal look and rode it home a few hours later. They stepped up nicely on my trade and the difference was acceptable. Super nice riding bike. Apples and oranges in terms of styles but I definitely do not have buyer's remorse. More power, better handling, and I got 50 miles per gallon coming home. What's not to like?

^^^ Beautiful bike! I was torn between the RS and RT but since I am an old man, I went for the RT! LOL If I didn't already have a sportier bike in my Camhead Roadster, I probably would have gone with the RS.

Best of luck with her! The motor is fantastic!

The motor is fantastic for sure! I will be lowering the pegs and raising the bars but the fit is pretty good in stock form. I'm exploring luggage options. Not sure what direction that will go.

If BMW would offer more ergonomic adjustability from the factory I would buy one, but as is the fit is simply too far off for me personally. Great motor and under appreciated bike!

After 7 years on a yamaha triple (FZ09 and XSR900), I treated myself with a UJM for my 60th birthday.
