Actually failed the first time because I went too slow on the the acceleration/braking distance test. :D

After doing the slalom portion I felt so bad for the bunch of guys who showed up on their cruisers to take the test....I don't think a single one passed that portion.

BMW R90/6; I took the BMW cases off first though. I'd been riding for about ten years though before I actually bothered to get my actual motorcycle license; it used to be you could walk in and renew your permit as many times as you wanted to and I just never got around to it.

1980 Honda CB650c, the brakes on it were just scary, and during the test I had to keep reving it just to keep it running.

1981 XS400 Special, made me do the brake test twice because I couldn't get the rear drum brake to lock for the skid test. When he realized it just wasn't going to happen he passed me :rofl

Yamaha twin jet 100. Cool little bike, wasnt as fast as the Bridgestone 90 sport I had but was smoother on the road.

I loved that little bike. If it were just a tiny bit taller I'd have one in the garage right now.

Ps... Did you take your test at the Clackamas location?
