    :D +1 Same bike I had! A guy I worked with let me borrow it to take the test. I ended up buying it from the guy . He was cool enough to let me make payments to him!

    Actually failed the first time because I went too slow on the the acceleration/braking distance test. :D

    After doing the slalom portion I felt so bad for the bunch of guys who showed up on their cruisers to take the test....I don't think a single one passed that portion.

    In pouring rain , did the brake test 3 times , till I said I wasn't going to crash for anyone , so he passed me .:D

    BMW R90/6; I took the BMW cases off first though. :wink: I'd been riding for about ten years though before I actually bothered to get my actual motorcycle license; it used to be you could walk in and renew your permit as many times as you wanted to and I just never got around to it.

    1980 Honda CB650c, the brakes on it were just scary, and during the test I had to keep reving it just to keep it running.

    I rode a GN125 during the test at the MSF. I didn't take one for the BMV.

    1981 XS400 Special, made me do the brake test twice because I couldn't get the rear drum brake to lock for the skid test. When he realized it just wasn't going to happen he passed me :rofl
