I'm not sure I understand the question. I thought the tranny problem was for 2016-2020, and therefore probably corrected for 2021, certainly (?) by 2022, but I'm not crazy about the 2020/21 color (from pictures). That's why I'm hoping the 2022 is in the nice blue that only Yamaha seems to know how to do. Transverse fours are not my favorite, but the bike seems to have almost everything else going for it.

First i've heard of the heating issue Tuono - but my experience with them is limited. I have ridden a couple and they are stonking motors. Heaps of grunt and they just about shake your fillings out with that big lumpy idle.

    Cheers

How about a Imperial Blue R1250RS? The colour is nice, and the motorcycle underneath that paint ticked off all the boxes for me.
A buddy of mine who has a 2017 FJR, and I traded bikes the other night when we were out riding. I was really happy to get back on my RS...

110's were crap. Period. A well built 103 is a far better lump to ride.

I was close to buying one, in that color, in mid April. Even called the dealer, but, there weren't any to be had within hundreds of miles. I was told ordering one would mean August delivery, but I knew (correctly) that I would have moved on to something else by then. I believe the RS would require more ergonomic adjustment for me than the FJR. I'd have to at least do a test sit, but few dealers seem to stock that model.

Could have been interwebs rumors....I never rode one but sure wouldn't mind. I'll bet they are a blast. My local BMW dealer just posted a used '19 Slim on their site. I was going either Slim or sporty bike and last month picked up a SuperSport from the same dealer. Wife said no to another bike... Timing.... But I don't regret the Ducati; very fun ride.

I'm feeling a desire for a DR650. I'd post a pic up but lets be real here, they've been in production for 30 years now. We should all know what they look like.

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 is still tickling my biking fantasies (this one's for sale in Flea - I have no relationship):

That one is set up pretty well. As happy as I am with the stock seat on mine, I'd love to have the Renazco seat off that one. :D

Plus the faster white isn't a color option on the new ones. Good thing the slower blue looks so good ! :rofl

Relatively small tank ... how many miles average do you get out of a fill-up?

I can get very close to 200 miles, but usually fill up at 180-190 miles.

Those scramblers are really done well - the white / green tank is just perfect looking.

$7k is way too rich for my blood for a toy like this so the wallet is safe...But I do kinda want it.
