Today I want a Speed Twin. I've listed a few bikes; if I get some bites I might get my wish.
I might have mentioned it before, but I’d still love to try the BMW Xcountry.
Especially the yellow version, completed with a windscreen and crashbars … like this:
I had one of those, the grey/silver version. It was a good bike, definitely worth trying. I traded it for a 696 Monster, which ironically went on FB marketplace today.
Thinking of the RSV4 1100 217 HP...and then thought.....
I could have had a V8....
Too bad the absurd placement of the stupid TFT screen pretty much makes that impossible.
I know what you mean.
I don't know about the Speed Triple specifically, but moving the instrument screen might be possible (and multi advantageous).
So many of them have weird angles and reflections that make them unreadable.
The things should be user adjustable, like a car seat, given how the rider's seated height can vary, and give visibilty problems (especially with LCDs).
Why not a more "classic" V12 with 2.3Liters and 250 hp? lol
Stunning bike! Just needs a little wind screen to finish off that instrument cluster, IMO.
Triumph does make a flyscreen that does exactly that.
I would like to try a bike with the DCT option.
The Gold Wing is to big and the Rebel 1100 might be to small...I think the the NT1100 might be just right.
yeah....this....today I think this.
Norton Atlas Nomad
(Kinda like an XSR700, but good looking)
Or maybe like a 900?
I want the graphics on my 700 today...
And no I'm far from offended about anyone feeling the 700 is ugly. Lot of bikes I think are ugly too.
Today I want this;
