Yeah the DT200 had a little bush in the header where the exhaust bolted up too, thats all it took to restrict it

It’s a Ducati, even when it’s fully together it probably still won’t start:(

Another restrictor option is a bit of tube on top of the carb slide around the cable, which limits the lift of the slide, assuming the carb cooperates.

An indicator bulb blew on my Versys last Sunday. Non of the autoparts stores have an amber 12v10w globe. Motorcycle places are shut because Sunday. Check eBay. Pretty sure I can replace the clear lenses with amber as having a needed item irreplaceable on a Sunday seems a bit silly to me.

Get a bulb today. The pins on the OEM bulb are offset to match the OEM socket ... Get the file out.

    Ridiculous.

Now looking at LEDs. Have no need for LEDs on this bike, but fuck me. That is ridiculous.

Weather is shit here so I replaced the 8K odd klm old front sprocket, should help the chain last longer.
While I'm here, new oil and filters and I swapped out the 1500 klm old GT723R which I really don't like back to the hardly worn Motoz Rallz which has done 2400 klms.
Now I'm hanging for a ride.

No photos. Took the Beta trials bike up in the hills for a bit. Excuse - was to warm up oil for an overdue change. All the best

Found a random piece of acyrlic lying around in dark recesses of the shed.

Knocked up a small screen for the wr250r, seems ok around town, definitely takes some wind off your chest 20200912_144214.jpg

Get out on the highway tomorrow, see how it goes in the 2-300 Ks an hr range, don't want any death wobble once it winds out....:photog

Ok. Versys has blown another bulb in the same indicator. Right rear, so I swapped left front to right rear last weekend as if I only have 3 bulbs, I feel left front is the least important.

So that's 2 of the 4 oem 2013 bulbs gone in the one spot.

I start with checking the socket and then the wiring?

Needed a break from the IT and the epic pipe guard(never again, so much work).

Thought I'd better tick a few of the bikes over as they are sitting there doing nothing.
All fired up, two with very sus batteries had to be jumped, but that was expected.
Warmed them up, revved them, they are all loud.:-)

Now I'm just depressed after that.
About 500 horsepower in bikes ticking away and I can't ride the bastards.

    I love Daniel.:baldy

Took the deep breath that I need before I start adding fibreglass inside the nose of the sidecar. I have to bulk it up to allow me to 'glass in the aluminium blocks that will become the mounts.

Was thinking if I pushed all mine out into the drive, with the LOUD tosser exhausts all facing the street and started them all in harmony to give all a good run and warm up.
    How coool would it sound?

Just wondering, would all in combination be louder, or only as loud as the loudest in the bunch?

    PS, Dans a cunt.

Maybe it's like one person screaming their lungs out at the MCG, you possibly wouldn't hear them from the opposite side.
But get a crowd of 80K and it can be deafening, or like 30 + bikes going into the first corner, again deafening.
