Couple of mates, Tony and Mick, came around and helped me get the front wheel in and the rear on some stands.
Waiting for more parts - on back order, again.
Apart from sticking more bits on it, I'm stuck again. There are very few parts left to add before I can attach it. If I put more bits on it, it's just going to weigh more when I start moving it around to hook up to the sidecar.

When this one is done, that will be four bikes repaired / re-finished since Sept '18. Only 3 more after that. And the 'secret' project I want to commission because I know it is totally beyond me. I wonder if I will ever have sufficient funds? One has to have some aspiration, Shirley?

During the Victorian lock down, to keep me sane I have been tinkering with the bikes to the e-nth degree. I have run out of things to do as I do not have unlike @tipodtiger and others a race track open to test the Suzuki or be able to go for a ride on the F800. Hopefully Dic Dan will let us out this weekend but I am not holding my breath. Also hope that the Island Classic will be run in Jan 2021

Making the Tacho mounts out of brass to add a bit of bling. Some would say that "I have too much time on my hands"
    and they could be right:-):-)

Rode it from home in Hobart to Cockle Creek and back.
Laying down and resting at the moment, been so busy that haven’t been putting much time on the saddle, body is out of condition.
Shall get out more often now that weather is warmer and days are longer to get into shape for summer holidays lap of Tasmania.

Yep. I tried to find a replacement seal for those I'm waiting for. Of course they are an odd size. It can wait.

I did the MNSW 'Scrutineering Seminar' today. Send the assessment away tomorrow and that's another thing I'm allowed to do during retirement. A reason to travel around the place.

I've only had one day on mine all year. Spent many hours 'fixing it up' this year too.
So, not that far in advance of anyone in Melbourne. I don't expect to see it on track again until Mac Park in January.

    Geez that Suzuki is sexy.

I also hope the IC goes ahead. I want to do more than look at old photos & wear T shirts from past years. Think I might volunteer again as I don't think I could tolerate another bike failure there.

Small workshop. You've got one that is clean and organised. I'm jealous.

Being so small I have to keep it that way otherwise I could not work in it. As it's part of the house I have pick my times when I do any fabrication or welding as SWMBO gets grumpy with noise and fumes. Also I don't have a dirty ares. Might go and look for a small factory to live and work in, then I'll have some peace and quiet

Got these new bulbs today. Stuffed up and ordered twice as many as I need. And they're yellow not amber. And they don't fit inside the housing!

I checked my cheap arse China made Honda CB125e and my cheap arse China Made Suzuki GW250. Both of them use proper push and turn bulbs.

I did have a tool tube behind the pannier rack which the indicator housing may have been making contact with. I've moved that and just stuck some gaffer tape on the bulb in the indicator now. Hopefully it provides enough interference.

Yep, Greenlands trail ride, just outside Stanthorpe. 50K loop with two early exit points and 5 "hard" loops, three were easy, one was hard and I turned back before the start of one after two failed attempts to cross the first rock garden.

It was the only one that went ahead this year but it was only a Saturday ride with no camping. Cooyar is supposed to be on the 7th next month (one day ride as well).

Someone bright will, one day, sell accommodation attached to small workshops. Just for blokes of a certain age.
