It's now got this far. My sons were both on hand to wriggle it into place. 20201226_115217.jpg

Today was one of those days where you don't have any plans. Including, plans to work on bikes.
But you pick up a spanner, just start fucking around doing this and that. Little jobs.
I actually got Doris started, using a trick told to me by winna. Thanks mate. Ya hoo, both rallys go. Celebrated with a beer.
I pressure washed the husky wheels I just fitted to the berg, and then thought. .. ' I'll try some oven cleaner on the cylinder and cases, to get the orange dust stains out' which certainly improved things. And so I had a beer.
    20201227_143827.jpg 20201227_145005.jpg

Then I thought I'd check the airfilter on the 450, yep, time for a change. Then had a beer. Washed 4 filters off various bikes in NoToil, then had a beer.
Then thought I'll start on the 690, needs a fuel pump ( which I've had here for months) then drained all the old crap fuel ( was the color of honey and stank) and then changed the injector, then reassembled and cleaned.
Then though shit, I actually did stuff today, without really setting out to.
    And had a beer. Win.

The top one is the one for 690s, the other one is for motherships. Should get 10000k outback touring on 690.
