one of the things i doned today was check the oil level of a new acquisition after a ~700k "arduous" ride.......never used a drop! happy chappy!

washed the DL yesterday, took it down to Yass today to deliver some water to Bazz and friends, bike was washed again on the way home, so was I and half the bloody countryside
Finally rode it today, after looking at it almost every day for the past 5 weeks.
425k's, Wallsend, Dungog, Bulahdelah, Forster, Taree, Krambach, lunch in Gloucester and home. A bit weary but fairly contented. Just the ticket for a lazy Sunday.

As far as bike prep goes... installed a warm air unit in the garage yesterday, to keep stuff (the bikes) from freezing, and make it more comfortable to work of an evening...

Sometimes... often it happens of a wintry sunday afternoon, after spending 4 hours washing of washing sand and mud from gear and bikes, de-prepping and reprepping airfilters, cleaning chains/sprockets, lube wheel bearings, linkages, axles, change brake pads, spray throttle/clutch cables etc. and generally coping with the gambit of wet weather motocross maintenance.
I'm usually over it by monday afternoon though...
