Yesty I was doing this...butchering a spring hook...

...grind a bit off here and there... drill a hole and insert a bolt and turn a cheapy spring hook spanner into a (hopefully ) workable spanner to fit this flywheel....buy the KTM tool and it'll set ya back $166.00.

a second bolt might be needed so I can hold it steady like this..when I tighten up the flywheel nut....and yes , that is a hole in the flywheel...what happens when the starter motor eats some of the free wheel teeth...

....after I fit a new clutch sprag....posty is bringing it today I hope..

I spent 3 hours driving around trying to find somewhere to sell me a few m6x80mm stainless cap head bolts to tie in racks and subframe bracing. Each shop sent me to another . No one had any or they would only sell a box .
Eventually got some only to find i wrote down the wrong size and should of been m8 . Doh !

Fitted a Radguard this week. Good gear but the fuel line protector bolt holes had to be drilled out to get everything lined up.

I'd knocked up some swingarm bobbins out of cap bolts and washers and they worked OK but I decided to get a couple of Evo bobbins with the Radguard order. They didn't fit; at a guess the thread is M10 coarse on the bike and fine on the bobbin bolts.

Fitted an SW-Motech side stand extender and just about trashed it on the first ride. It drags when you're cranked over. Motorradgarage are all sniffy about it: it's never happened before and they've "sold hundreds", maybe I didn't fit it correctly, it shouldn't have happend. Derr.

It wasn't today but I thrashed the little girl around Phillip Island GP Circuit. It was a perfect day too. Totally justified the money I spent
