Innocuous sentences like that often lead to bike acquisitions :lol3

Yip. The R5 Trail isn't here yet, but the two PR4 Trails I've had have stuck like shit to a blanket. Totally different compound structure to the standard. Sweet.

Yeah. I've been using the pr4 trails and loved them. But mounting those 19" fronts has pissed me off more than once.

I'm going to use your expression. I just laughed so hard.

I finally got around to finishing the welding on my homemade racks, I originally just tacked them together and took them for a test ride, that was 2 yrs ago (:shog) so since I broke yet another weld I thought I should finish the job.

You fit them yourself? Fook that! My local shop has a machine for that, and they usually put a beer in my hand while I'm watching....:1drink

(My well proven motto; look after your *GOOD* local shop, and they'll look after you.)

I've got a friend with a machine. It's easy enough to get them on but getting the #@*&'ing bead to set? :baldy

I don't wanna pay $60 a wheel to have tires mounted. Not when I go through 5-6 sets per year.

Who charges $60 to fit tyres? FFS!!

My local charges zilch, zero, Nuffin. I just take my wheels in. Mind you, I buy almost Nuffin on line, almost everything comes from my local. Thus I receive a small discount on everything, and they look after me...

I feel the same way but it takes time and labour. (I feel like I need to use Oz spelling for you guys. :lol3) So I do it myself. I also buy local from a place called Moto Guild. It's a DIY garage. But my friend has a tyre machine (the pneumatic one!) so I do it at her place. Plus we can chat and usually grab lunch together as well.

    :shog

    I spell like a seppo, sorry! :lol3
