So... Tanks back on, fuel lines reconnected, lower fuel taps opened. Upper fairing panels reinstalled, wiring to glovebox reinstated (and tidied up).

IMS Flexjets... the outer rubber skins were totally perished, so stripped it all off, now running naked!

    Back together and fully assembled...

    Fuel on...

Start her up and take off down the road... And she died! WTF? Dickhead, the main fuel petcock is set to off... :fpalm

Runs like a big, hairy arsed, angry, noisy, Clock... On steroids!!!
    Love my (dirty) LC8.

On those flex jets, when mine went bad I stripped them and then sleeved a piece of vacuum line over them. Lasted several more years and were fine when I sold the bike.

Last dirt trip the compressor nozzle broke and I rode back to civilization aired down. Not going to have this problem again.

You can see the brass couplers behind the inside of the sail panel. Just a cheap compressor with some nylon fittings.

it's wired into the switched accessory 5A lead. Obscured from view too as I park the bike in urban areas.

Also the oil cooler is working pretty well. 5-10C off the top. It'll get toasty if i'm going super slow or stoplight jockeying but will cool down quickly once moving. The old factory silicone hose split apart which was good fun, I replaced it with some double wall Continental transmission line.

The compressor is a brilliant idea,so much empty space behind those panels! What oil cooler do you use and how did you route the hoses? Thanks!

Yesterday i replaced the Trail Attack 2's for Mitas E07+ rubber. Now that it got cooler here in Holland i had some issues with the battery, so replaced that today. Also found some sweating of oil and coolant. Cleaned that off and will check again in a few days :)
