I finished the tt./hyperpro progressive fork springs. Finished tying up the af-xied too. Then I went for a short night ride to find a place to adjust the headlights back up.they were pointed a bit low for my liking. The new springs front and back feel good so far! I believe she's ready for the summer! Woo hoo!

Nice job! What hand protectors are they?

I fitted the Puig touring screen on mine today, awaiting delivery of a black Mivv speed edge, my farkling is nearly over! (For now)

The handguards are just Touratech. The only stuff I added was that and Touratech belly pan and a sheepskin seat cover. 30,000 miles and about 40 counties later still going great

Wow, nice going. Have you had any issues with the rear shock bolt after so many miles?

Worked in a few time trials so I can compare old suspension to the upgrade that is on it's way.

No issues with the shock bolt, But I replaced it before I went to SA just in case. The original was perfect and is in my spares kit

First ride out since installing the Mivv Speed Edge onto my bike. What a difference! I've spent a small fortune this month on the slip on, Puig touring screen, Altrider lexan headlight guard kit, foam grip puppies, rear mud guard (chinese mud sling) and a Schuberth E1 helmet.

Put all of them together at once and it felt surreal - almost like a different bike. The new sound and thump from the exhaust gives it some character, the new screen saved me getting a face full of wind whenever on the motorway and the helmet is a huge improvement on the Shark evoline 3 I just sold.

I'd like to say that no more farkles are needed, though i'm sure the next will soon be around the corner! Expensive hobby.

Thanks, I like the Yoshimura though went with the Mivv in the end after weighing everything up. It gives a delightful grunt, not sure whether or not to take the baffle out on it!

Would it be too loud for long journeys though? I wouldn't want to annoy the group that I ride with.

Or yourself. I had the db killer out of my akrapovic for a little while and altho I liked the sound better it got to be a bit much on longer rides.

My Schuberth e1 is ridiculously quiet so it shouldn't be too much of an issue, though I feel like a super-loud 800gs is a case of the bark being bigger than it's bite. I've heard that removing the baffle can also lose you a bit in the lower revs though that's probably debatable.

Db killers aren't that big so I take mine with me stashed under the seat. I like my Termignoni without it but it's there just in case.
In my case I don't have to worry about the rest of the group complaining, when you ride with xt660x with dual akrapovics in the mix you won't be the loudest.
