It´s located just north of San Carlos, Sonora. just down from te outlook(mirador), but be careful it´s an awful place plagued with turistas and poluted water. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
Yooze all convinced me: the place is a total shithole and not worth a damn. Thx for the heads-up! Now I don't even have to practice my Loud English. [cos] which one of ya'z is willing to guide a n00b? [/cos]
That's another thing that sucks. Guides are worthless. You're better off going alone. Wait a minute, I got that wrong. Don't even THINK about going without a guide. Far too dangerous. You can't make it by yourself. No way. Just stay home. [cos] which one of ya'z is willing to guide a n00b? [/cos]
All the river crossing are to small and not deep at all. the ride down the canyons are so wimpy the only way to be of any chalange is to wait till night and turn off light.
I want to know what's up with all the happy children? Don't they know that they're supposed to be crying and throwing tantrums because they don't have the latest electronic toy? And God forbid you should break down or have a problem, don't they know that that's the prime time to stick it to you? Someone's just not teaching these people right.
The distance it is from Minnesota to the Mexican boarder is the only thing that I do not like about Mexico. If Mexico was closer I would visit seveal timea a year. I even like jumping topes.
I'm glad you all have helped remind me why I don't like it there. I won't even go there this winter. I would much rather stay in north Missouri and slog through the snow to the wood pile a couple times a day. :eek1 (maybe next winter)
If Mexico was closer you would already be speaking Spanish, eating Huitlacoche, drinking Negra Modelo and buying another Mexican car battery for your bike by now. Salud!
Hey J, how're you! Well, life brought me here, can't complain ya know... I'm closer to home though, I just came back from Guatemala where I picked up my bike and rode to Cancún for the BMW National Convention (more ). Had a blast, a trip report might be in the future. Or, if you wanna practice Spanish...http://www.motoaventuras.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=340 Mi casa es su casa here in the DR
