Had the dealer do the 6k service on my 1250GSA. I'm at 6824 miles, all trouble free. Well, ok, i did have to tighten the left handguard at about 5k.

Was at the dealer yesterday, asked about the DVD. After a bunch of typing -> "Nothing yet."

@Dogslobber is correct it is the new Mosko Moto Basilisk jacket and pants. I have a review posted in their vendor thread that I am about to update with off road information.

Got and installed my Chinesium side-stand switch guard yesterday. Very nicely made and packaged.
The brushed stainless looks OK on my silver frame. Cost, with shipping, was around $10.

I mentioned earlier how the new Motoz Rallz tire is a tall aggressive knobby and that it will eat your add-on mudflap...here's photographic evidence to support this claim. Mind this may have been in part to riding aggressively with 2up on my 2014 GSA with the suspension setting for two riders. 20190918_142757.jpg 20190918_142757.jpg 20190918_142657.jpg 20190918_142657.jpg 20190918_142636.jpg

:DI cut a similar hole in my Maier inner fender to assist with heat dissipation from the cat. Works well.

Mounted and balanced a rear shinko 705. I think my rims need to be trued. The spokes are equally tight and have the same tone when rung, but runout is clearly visible by eye. Wonder what spec is?

Did you see the runout with no tire on it? Sometimes the tire will look off on a straight rim.

    ^^^ Nice looking bike.

Just a random thought. I am so glad that we don't have everyone naming their bike "Triple Black" or "TB" in every description anymore. For a while I thought we would need an entirely different forum for the TB people.

    Ok, rant over. :lol3

Can you be more specific? I never felt TB owners were overly specific about being a Triple Black person or owner. I had one and never boasted or did I?

Oh man Adam, there was a year or so (maybe prior to your arrival) that every swinging dick who had one had to mention it in every post. I'm glad that died out over time as TB wasn't offered as a factory option anymore.

Other than being the most expensive trim for a couple of years (A $400 paint job), I feel the Rally (GS) or Rally Colors (GSA) were way fancier and special. Oh well. we're all GS owners.

Zackly, whatever trips your trigger. But I fail to understand how a paint job makes the owner special. :deal
