Found one of the most Curvy roads I've ever been on...unfortunately it was in terrible condition! Ugh 20-25mph.
No, mine was on empty showing “0” range & epmty. Gave it the zap treatment and took it for a spin. Got about a mile down the road from my house and 4 bars. Scroll through the info, 120 miles range. Kool
in these 39000 posts I'm prolly the only one who washed his electronic key in the washing machine. It sure is clean...and after sitting on the dash of my truck all day it still starts my bike. Empty your pockets before you take them off and your wife gets hold of them
After washing my gear last week I finally found where my bike's registration was... not super useable anymore.
Adam, you did everything right up to the point of getting the last bit of the new tire on: if you push the part of the tire that’s already on into the center of the rim it will give you the slack you need to get the rest of the tire over the edge of the rim on the opposite end. This is because the center of the rim has a lesser diameter than the outside. One way to do this is by kneeling on the side that’s already on, to make sure it stays down, while working on the opposite end.
Today I am pulling the last bits of carbon fiber and Rizoma bling off my GS. (PM if interested) Since I now have 2 bikes, the GS is getting proper Adventure Farkles, and the XR will get the Sexy Treatment.
Took a day off and enjoyed a beautiful fall day in New England. Found some empty forest roads in western MA - a few of these are from October Mountain State Forest. 300 miles and a day well spent.
Hope it lasts for you. When I zapped my last one it only worked for about 2 tanks of fuel before it failed again. In the end it didn't really matter, BMW paid for a replacement. Just past the 3 year mark on the current strip.
Cleaning my bike because someone is renting it tomorrow for the weekend. Have rented out our bikes 3 times this year via TwistedRoad and no bad experiences yet.
Suggestion, go to a pet store and get the largest sized dog house breaking pads, around $10 for 12. Highly absorbent with plastic backing. Perfect for oil changes!
