oh dang altrider updated the design
black's not so bad :)
it gets dirty but no more so than anything else but i think it makes the bike look cleaner than the silver. hard decision though!
Black Sharpies are your friend if scratches and gouges bother you.
So does a small tube of touch up paint of Rust-Oleum Fast Fix universal flat black....
Fitted new reservoir covers. Huge install with a weight saving of 0.00006 kg and an extra 0.00000000001hp at the rear wheel
Interesting, smokes talks about how the crash bars did more damage in a crash and recommends the stock bars with the touratech or altrider support bars.
Glad I added the support bars on mine but can see how they would cause damage as well. Now I’m worried about the MAMs bolt failure. Worry beads.

I know. Being from Idaho it makes me laugh too.
south of Julian. Eagle peak road down to the gate at the bottom, where I turned hard left through the ceder creek gate, which leads back up to Boulder creek rd (3 sisters trail head).
bedliner. shoot them 2x a year just for kicks.
Hey @Ocho NA -- at the time you asked, we were unaware of the issues with the 1250s. We specifically designed the T3s to be used on any bike without having to use a CANsmart (since they don't exist for many bikes), but the CanBus system on the 1250s does not seem to allow the direct interface. As we design and update products, manufacturers of bikes are doing the same--we're trying to keep up, but it seems you got stuck in the middle.
Please know we are constantly working on solutions.

While so many of you guys are adding lights, fixing radiators, breaking levers, etc... I added decals to my side cases :) (turning them into genuine OEM cases, right?). We'll see how they hold up on the powder coat finish. I've also got the upper SW Motech protection bars on order at the local shop. Need to see if they've come in so I can install them.
Or 50 of mine!

Well...snow on the forecast for tomorrow and knowing winter up here, this very well may be the last day of riding so I rode 93 miles today...just "around town" because honestly that's normal. It's 20 miles just to get groceries and then I visited a client:
I also rode up north to give my friend some tools. He just bought a new "islander" jeep..well new to him. Pristine, had it shipped up from florida. Working man with 5 kids and this is his first splurge in 15 years on something for himself. Sorry no photos but he needed proper tools so I dropped some of my Wera stuff up to him + some PB Blaster, heat gun and an impact gun + impact sockets. He's changing the 25 year old shocks on it. Other than that, it'll stay stock.
Then went and bought some groceries. Needed to buy some sand & salt for the incoming snow and my GF happened to be in town with the car so we went shopping, loaded up her car and she snapped some sneaky photos of me:
Pretty rough day overall. It literally rained ALL day, low of 33F when I left the house this morning, high of 42 when I was buying groceries. Sigh. Season is almost over and I really hope tomorrow's snow doesn't stick.
Woke up to this and the salt truck just went by. Sigh.
Added Motech bar risers and a V-Stream windshield to my 1200 GSA - both purchased from inmates on this forum.
This place is getting expensive
the horror, the horror
C'mon man, you're not going to let a little dusting of snow stop you! You could be the next Bwokentoof!
